President Goodluck Jonathan was very emotional yesterday December 7, at
the burial his younger brother, Meni Innocent Jonathan.
The president fought back tears during the burial procession for Meni who died November 20.
The
last time the president publicly displayed this rare form of emotion
was at the site of the Dana airplane crash in June this year.
Part of the rites was the Service of Songs took place at the Dame Patience Jonathan Square in Otuoke.
Notable government officials, including Senate President David Mark
were in attendance and representatives of Nollywood were present to
sympathise.
According
to reports, the Vice-president Namadi Sambo, was absent as he prepared
for the wedding of his two daughters in Kaduna today.
