Lagos-based actress, Laide Bakare, is eagerly awaiting next January, when she will shoot Jejere,
a movie in which she is featuring star talents such as Emeka Ike, Akin
Lewis and Fathia Balogun. Information from her, however, indicates that
she is set to draw out the actor in afro hip hop singer, Abolore Akande
otherwise called 9ice, who is playing the lead role.
She
is also said to be extending the frontiers of her Simline International
Limited, a production house, which is now procreating Similine Records
to advance her interest in music.
“As
such, the new record label has spotted and signed talented singer Taiwo
Korodo (T-Code). Now, she is putting together an event tagged ‘The Laide Bakare Experience’, will feature the premiere of Jejere and the official presentation of the record label and its artistes,” a statement notes.
