He said this at the budget defence of the Ministry of Agriculture before the Senate Committee on Agriculture in Abuja on Monday.
According to Senator Mark, most of the statistics flaunted by the executive arm was a false reflection of the realities on ground, arguing that, more often than not, the touted percentages were bogus and deceptive.
He said what was needful was physical improvement as reflective in the lives of the people and not mere paper work, stressing that until Nigerians were able to fend for themselves and their families, no improvements on paper can convince him.
“To me, the statistics on paper does not matter if it does not translate to a noticeable transformation of the lives of Nigerians,” he said.
